A Safe, Child‑Centred Environment

At Tullymore Daycare we aim to provide a safe, child-centered caring environment that is stimulating and challenging for all of our children. Play based activities have been designed by our staff for children at all ages and stages of development, encouraging a learning environment that provides children with imaginative, motivating, challenging, creative and enjoyable experiences.

The staff in our setting are qualified to NVQ 2 / NVQ 3 / NVQ 5 and are experienced in all aspects of childcare, receiving ongoing training in the latest developments in early years care and education.

Central to the ethos of Tullymore Daycare is our commitment to safeguarding the well-being of children — promoting their rights and best interests in line with The Children's Order 1995 (NI).

MyNurseryPal App

Here at Tullymore Daycare we use the MyNurseryPal App — a modern touch-screen nursery system keeping nurseries and parents connected in real time.

As a parent you can log in and see how your child is enjoying their day as many times as you want. It allows staff to have much more time caring for children and helping them reach their development milestones.

Food & Nutrition

Our food is provided by our very own cook, Deirdre. Each meal is nutritiously balanced and we take into account each child's dietary requirements. Children are also provided with snacks such as fruit, wholemeal bread, crackers, cheese, and breadsticks. Water and milk are provided throughout the day.

After Schools

A Home From Home

Our afterschools facility provides a home from home caring and welcoming environment. We do lots of different activities that include computers, arts & crafts, cooking, puzzles, football, games room, music and dance.

Throughout the year our projects include anti-bullying campaigns, gardening, recycling, science projects, food from around the world, and much more. We love getting outdoors — trips are a regular part of our programme!
