Our Story

25 Years at the Heart of the Community

For over 25 years, Upper Andersonstown Community Forum has been the launch pad for major environmental, social and community change within The Greater Andersonstown area. In our endeavours to improve the quality of life and the physical environment of the wider area, we have involved ourselves in a wide range of initiatives, all with the objective of reducing social inequality.

We believe this approach and focus will enable us to create a sustainable living environment and a healthy community space for all the residents in Greater Andersonstown.

Tullymore Community Centre offers a full range of facilities for residents young and old and we're continually expanding the range of services we offer — from advice and life coaching, to comprehensive youth and elderly programmes, education & training, and our work in Neighbourhood Renewal.

Our History

How We Grew

The forum rapidly expanded as a service delivery organisation with the opening of the new community centre in 2000. The project is designed to improve the quality of life and opportunities available to those living in a designated area of deprivation.

We are continually striving to do the best we can for everyone in the Andersonstown community and work very much on the betterment of the community for all of its inhabitants.

If you live in the area and you don't yet know about us, please drop in to our centre at Tullymore and say hello — we're sure that you'll find something of interest for you, your family and friends.
